At MV Technology, we recently undertook an IT Consulting Telecommunication Expense Management (TEM) project for a customer with multiple sites spread across the tri-state area. Our objective was to optimize their telecommunication expenditures and streamline their operations while reducing costs.
To begin, we collaborated closely with the customer to comprehensively identify and document all their telecommunication expenses. This involved conducting a thorough analysis of their existing services, contracts, and invoices.
Next, we worked closely with the customer to assess their current and future requirements. By understanding their unique needs and goals, we developed a strategic plan to enhance their telecommunication infrastructure and services.
Taking a proactive approach, we crafted and sent out a Request for Proposal (RFP) to various telecommunication service providers. With our expertise in vendor evaluation, we diligently reviewed and analyzed all the bids received.
Collaborating with the customer, we carefully evaluated each proposal, considering technical capabilities, financial considerations, and long-term viability. Our aim was to identify the best vendor that aligned with the customer's needs both technically and financially.
Once the preferred vendor was chosen, we actively engaged in the implementation process, working closely with the selected provider to ensure a smooth transition. Our team closely monitored the implementation to ensure that the new circuits were seamlessly integrated into the customer's existing infrastructure.
The result of our Telecommunication Expense Management project was significant savings for the customer. By consolidating their telecommunication services and working with a single vendor, the customer achieved streamlined operations and reduced expenses. They now have a dedicated point of contact for any issues, leading to improved efficiency and cost savings of thousands of dollars per month.
