MV Technology Inc ("MV Technology," "we," "us," or "our") provides IT consulting, POS systems, networking, telecommunications, website design, an AI website builder, and related services. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website at mvtechnologyinc.com and our tools, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, and some information automatically when you use our site.

• Contact and quote forms. When you request a quote, ask about a service, or contact us, we collect your name, email, business name, phone number (if provided), the service you're interested in, your approximate budget, and any details you include in your message.
• AI website builder. When you use our website builder, we collect your name and email (with email verification), business information you provide (business name, industry, description, location, goals, and any statistics you choose to share), your preferences and feedback, and any files you upload such as a logo or photos. We also store the website previews generated for you.
• Chatbot. When you chat with our website assistant, we store the messages exchanged in that conversation so we can respond, capture your request, and improve the service.
• Email verification. To confirm your email address in the builder, we generate a short, time-limited verification code.
• Usage and device data. Like most websites, we automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type and user-agent, pages visited, referring page, and timestamps. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used.
• Server logs. Our servers keep logs (including IP address and request details) for security, abuse prevention, rate limiting, and troubleshooting.

How we use your information

• Respond to your inquiries and provide quotes, proposals, and support.
• Operate the AI website builder — generate and refine previews, and build the final site if you move forward.
• Power the website chatbot and route requests to the right specialist.
• Send service-related messages (such as email verification and follow-ups about a request you submitted).
• Protect our site and services — detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents, and enforce usage limits.
• Understand and improve our website, tools, and services through analytics.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

• Service providers we rely on to operate. We use trusted third parties to deliver our services, and information is shared with them only as needed for that purpose:
  • Anthropic (Claude). The text you enter into our chatbot and the business details you provide to the website builder are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses and website designs.
  • Google Analytics. Usage and device data, used to measure and improve our site.
  • Unsplash. Industry-related search terms are sent to retrieve stock imagery for previews; no personal information is shared.
  • Intelisys. When you request a telecom quote, the details needed to check serviceability and pricing are shared with our telecom distributor and the relevant carriers.
  • Email and hosting providers. We use an email/SMTP provider to send messages and Microsoft Azure / Windows Server infrastructure to host our services.
• Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of MV Technology, our clients, or others.
• Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services, respond to your requests, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Generated previews, intake submissions, and chatbot conversations are retained to support your project and our records; server and diagnostic logs are kept for a limited period and then rotated. You can ask us to delete your information (see "Your choices" below).

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and restricting administrative tools to authorized staff on trusted networks. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies (including browser local/session storage) for essential functions — such as keeping your chatbot session active — and for analytics through Google Analytics 4. You can control cookies through your browser settings and can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.

Your choices and rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can opt out of marketing communications at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.
